Lovable "Alsea and Soozie " pattern is the Third of the classics belonging to The Oregon RagBabies(TM) family of soft dolls created by Kezi Matthews in 1990. "Alsea" and the other 5 members of the RagBabies(TM) family are named after picturesque small towns and hamlets in the beautiful State of Oregon. There is a group picture of all six Oregon RagBabies(TM) at the bottom of this page.

We will be offering all Oregon RagBabies(TM) as limited edition patterns. Don't miss out on collecting the entire set. "Alsea" is the 3nd of these collectable classic patterns! There are a total of 5 patterns for the 6 dolls.

Alsea is another steal-your-heart-away doll, designed for muslin/broadcloth but will also make a beautiful doll in knit. This is a classic pattern you'll be using for years to come! The pattern comes w/1 iron-on fine-line face transfers, complete costume and Alsea's friend Soozie pattern.

The instructions are well-illustrated, easy-to-follow and including Kezi's quick-as-a-wink colored pencils and pens technique for gorgeous face-finishing. You'll love making this darling little girl and her cute as a button best pal, Soozie!

This is a special printing of the original patterns. For this Limited Edition Pattern Set a pattern cover has been designed and printed in color on cover stock paper! The front cover features a close up of "Alsea". The back cover features a fell length picture of "Alsea" along with her best friend "Soozie".
