She has a cute little bottom and a belly button that's easy to make.
Her arms and legs are sewn in, not jointed. The body is constructed to endure being handled and loved.
We'll also make an outfit for her. A little dress with bloom ers and a bonnet. The bonnet will hide the face that isn't turned to the front of the doll.
To finish off the outfit, we'll make her a pair of sandals with layered soles - little foam flip-flop sandals.
The class includes two different leg patterns. You have the choice of straight legs or curved legs for your doll.
As a bonus, an OPTIONAL head is also included! A head with an open mouth, but only ONE face (instead of two).
Students should have a basic knowledge of sewing. This doll is recommended for intermediate doll makers. It is possible that a person who is new to doll making can make the doll, but they will find it challenging at times.
